The Alcatel-Lucent OmniVista 4760 provides network management for the Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Office and the Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise. An innovative, modular platform, the OmniVista 4760 provides a suite of network management applications. This powerful Java-based tool is accessed through a Web browser and provides centralized management.

Alcatel-Lucent OmniVista 4760 MCS Edition is a key component for MCS (Managed Communication Services). It provides the Service Providers with two key benefits:
- Increase recurring services revenue with an enlarged portfolio of remote services which are highly automated – such as alarm monitoring & resolution, backups, upgrades, user MAC (moves, adds, changes), performance & accounting reports, asset management, etc.
- Reduced cost of operations by centralizing management and visibility of customers' equipment with the Network Operation Center, so that tasks are performed remotely instead of sending technicians on-site.
The OmniVista provides network management for Alcatel-Lucent's IP Networking products, including OmniSwitch, OmniAccess and OmniStack. The OmniVista features a true client / server architecture that allows multiple users to access its services simultaneously. It delivers network-level management while providing access to various element managers.
