History
Adventus was launched as an Alcatel Business Systems Division in 1994. In 2001, the division was separated from Alcatel and became an independent systems integrator under the name Adventus.
At Adventus, we are proud of having been able to sustain our visionary view for more than a decade:
- In 2003 Adventus made a decision to implement dedicated Check Point service provider environment for providing Managed Security Services, thus making Adventus first real Managed Security Services provider in Baltics and Finland.
- In February 1999, Adventus signed the first data and voice infrastructure-outsourcing contract, making it the first company in the Baltics to start promoting and providing Managed Infrastructure Services.
- Adventus was conceivably the first company to create a real VoIP telecom solution in the Baltics. In 1998, we signed the first VoIP contract enabling a new operator to provide long-distance calls using our solutions.
